About Us
Alan Kropp & Associates (AKA) is an independent privately-owned geotechnical consulting firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area. From our downtown Berkeley offices, we provide a full range of geotechnical services to a broad spectrum of public and private-sector clients.
Personnel
AKA’s professional personnel include experts in geo-hazards, foundations, earth retention, site response, forensics, and legal consulting. AKA’s founder, Principal Engineer and President, Alan Kropp, has over 35 years of geotechnical engineering experience and actively manages the firm.
Employment
We have an immediate need for staff, project, and senior level engineers to work on a wide variety of geotechnical investigation and construction projects including schools, landslide repairs, residences, and private developments.
